So I did that comic for RakkuGuy which he then featured in his Journal and then...

then my notifications exploded.

Holy hell, I have never seen so much traffic in my DA message centre. THANK YOU ALL FOR ALL THE FAVES, WATCHES AND COMMENTS! There's so much of you that hopping into every one of your's profile to thank you there would take me way too much time so I hope you'll aprreciate this "mass post".

And I hope you'll enjoy your stay here meowwave

And Thank You Mark (can I call you Mark?) for featuring my silly comic!    pokemon gif Gardevoir

So for my German class, we had to do a 6 hours worth of self study assingments. The type and topic of the assingment was quite flexible. Direct copypasta from the assingment description:

Self-studies:
6 hours all together-free choice of material
  • online exercises (vocabulary or grammar; answers!)
  • movies or tv - series with subtitles (+ using the new words, e.g. summary or writing about one movie character)
  • German music (e.g. translating the text and / or summary)
  • talking to German friends or exchange students (+ new words and expressions)
  • your own podcast about different topics (mp3- or wma-file)
  • free writing exercises
  • etc.

I decided to do something along the free writign route and translate the start of Knows no Boundaries. Surely in six hours I would be able to breeze through the first two chapters, right? WRONG! I'm just finishing up the tent page of and going very far to the overtime, but I just don't wanna stop in the middle of a chapter.

Turns out, translating phrases can be pretty difficult, if you wanna keep them meaningful and good text :E I have found a newfound respect for professional (and non-professional) translators.

Next time I'll pick something less ambigitous.

That's one big question I'd like to know an answer to.

I have been on deviantArt for a effin long time, but compared to that I have only handful of watchers and very few page/deviationviews. I'd love to have more people see my stuff and get more comments and feedback from them. But how can one achieve that in the endless sea of drawings that is the internet when he doesn't have any real platform to promote oneself? I know literally no way to promote anythign that I have made to anyone. The way social internet works means that it's just rich get richer situation where people with big following gain more exposure through that following which results in bigger following. Small guys like me have little to no change to stand out amongst the millions of others out there :/

Anyways, just rambling around.

I also need to draw more, but I have been mismanaging my time so badly lately >.<
